Jewelry Care

The safest way to clean your jewelry is with dish soap, warm water, and a soft bristle toothbrush. These will go a long way in cleaning and polishing your jewelry that has tarnished slightly. A polishing cloth will also be included in every order to give your piece a beautiful shine.

It’s best to care for and clean your jewelry regularly, or when you start to notice a slight discoloration, rather than waiting until the piece becomes overly tarnished. This will make cleaning easier and bring a brighter shine to your jewelry in between wears.

Jewelry cleaning liquid is also a great option to clean your jewelry quickly and easily so long as the piece is made only with metal.

Do not use silver polishing liquid or chemical jewelry cleaner on your Renewed jewelry as the liquid can dull the color on the plate. Instead, use warm, soapy water and a toothbrush or your polishing cloth to clean.

To extend the life of any piece of jewelry, avoid wearing it when working out or during any vigorous activity that might damage the piece. It is also recommended to avoid wearing your jewelry in a hot tub or pool where the chemicals can damage the metal.

Katelyn Elyse Jewelry is not responsible for replacing jewelry that has been damaged by the customer. However, I am happy to help fix a broken piece of jewelry for a fee representative of the time and materials it would take to restore.
