After meeting a unique and special girl, I decided I needed a unique and special engagement ring. I didn't like what I was seeing at the jewelry stores, everything seemed so… typical, or disingenuous to offer… (and quite expensive as well).

I came to Katelyn not knowing what to expect, or even any specific ideas. I came with a general concept only. I was very pleased to know that she handles design concepts! She provided some great sketches and we worked from there. In fact, one of the sketches jumped out at me as being “the perfect engagement ring for her” - something I didn't even know until I saw it.

During the process, Katelyn asked great questions and communicated well. She asked not only about the materials, but also about my girl: her personality, favorite colors, interests, etc. After the design was set, it was a very short turnaround time on the creation of the actual ring. I am so happy with the way it turned out! I highly encourage anyone looking for something special and meaningful and beautiful - to go to Katelyn!

I worked with Katelyn to create custom earrings for my wedding. After months of looking online I kept running into the same issues. I really couldn’t find ”what I was imagining” and what I could find was outrageously expensive. Working with Katelyn solved both these problems! She was so easy to work with and really listened to what I wanted and helped guide me through things I didn’t think about! She helped me refine all my crazy ideas and make the perfect earrings! When I received my earrings they were exactly what I wanted (and what I thought I was getting- which is perfect, I don’t like surprises!) I asked Katelyn to create special necklaces for my niece Alison and her two daughters Lily and Elly Lou. Katelyn started the jewelry design process by asking specific questions about my nieces and she was able to capture the heart of what I was looking for. We added a small airplane charm to each necklace as Robert – Alison’s husband and the girl’s father was a pilot in the Air Force. The whole process was just wonderful and picking the birthstones and all the suggestions Katelyn made were wonderful – she really understood all the little details and even suggested stamping their nicknames into the necklaces design. The necklaces are now worn for all “special” occasions and the girls will have them as a treasure forever. Katelyn has extensive experience in jewelry creation and I learned about metals and stones during the process. I loved being involved in each step of the process and I was over the moon with the end result and everyone in my family loved the necklaces. It was truly a great experience.
